On your desktop, create a Folder called MEDIC.
Download the latest MEDIC Windows Wallet version at https://mediccoin.com/MedicCoin-Window.zip . Unzip MedicCoin-Window.zip to the folder MEDIC
Open and Run the MEDIC wallet for the first time. You will be prompted to create your MedicCoin data directory in either the Default Directory or in a custom directory. This is where your MEDIC Wallet data will be stored and it is important to know, since your Private Keys are there. Hit OK to proceed.
When the wallet opens, you will notice that the lower right hand corner has the number of peers actively connected to you through the MEDIC Coin network. In the lower left hand corner of the If there is a problem synchronizing, it may say “No Block Source Available” instead. If this happens, just close and re-open the wallet until it synchronizes. If the synchronizing appears to stall or the MEDIC Coin Wallet stops responding, then just close and re-open the wallet again.
If you have problems syncronizing the wallet, add the following addnodes (click the Connections button) to your configuration file (MedicCoin.conf) then simply restart your wallet. So your vivo.conf file should look like this:
Click on Help -> Debug Window.
In the Console window enter getnewaddress MN1 and copy the result. This is your MASTERNODE DEPOSIT ADDRESS, where you will deposit 199,999 coins to create a masternode. Pay EXACTLY 199,999 MEDIC Coin into this address (in one transaction). No more, no less. It will not work if you make more than one transactions like 100,000 then 99,999, it will not work even though you have 199,999.
Now go to the directory where your MedicCoin.conf is located, usually it is in C:\Users\Hello\AppData\Roaming . Open MedicCoin.conf with a notepad and type these in:
In the Console Debug window enter masternode genkey and copy the result. This is your MASTERNODE PRIVKEY.
Go back to the config file in Notepad and paste your privkey after the equals sign of “masternodeprivkey=”. Now save and close the file.
Close the wallet by going to File -> Exit.
Open the MedicCoin Wallet again by running MedicCoin-qt.exe. This is how you will always start the wallet going forward.
Go to Tools -> Debug Console. Enter masternode start. You will see the response “Masternode started successfully”. Congratulations, your masternode is now running.
